Hello everyone,
This is the end. We will no longer be supporting this server. We had many good memories here, especially with the old Mineland from 2020–2022. But over time, many bad memories also built up.
We worked very hard to give players what they wanted and to make sure they enjoyed their time here. We always tried to give everyone a chance to be part of the community and to keep everything fair. We developed systems, moderated, helped, solved issues, and did everything we could so players could just play and have fun.
But in return, we received nothing. As many of you already know, all we ever got were a few short words like "super cool", "nice", or "great job"… and nothing more.
The English community was basically forgotten. The administration did not care about the English side, we were treated like ghosts. I understand that they only speak Russian, but that doesn't mean they can't try to communicate or work together. I always talked to Russian players, even in voice chats. The language barrier never mattered to me, what mattered was making sure every player felt important and welcome, whether they were Russian or English.
I stayed active in the Telegram chat even though I never use Telegram for anything else. I stayed active on the Russian Discord too. I did everything I could to connect with the community.
But the administration is too busy with their own things. And I want to point out something else: the rules on this server are extremely strict. You can't even joke with your friends. Rules like 2.7, 2.2, and even the /trade chat rules… who created these? There were much better ways to handle these situations. You can't just ban someone for joking like "ahaha, bro is gonna get banned". Whether he gets banned or not doesn't change anything, players should be allowed to joke and have fun. This isn't breaking any real rule on any normal server. It's honestly absurd.
Anyway, I wish this server the best, but this is the end of the English community and staff. We wish you all the best in the future. I am leaving Mineland Network after 7 years. I was never promoted for 4 years as a Senior Moderator, even though I worked extremely hard, but that's fine, haha. I recently promoted myself to Senior SMM because otherwise I would never receive anything. But even that doesn't matter, because the rank is basically useless.
I love you all. Thank you for the amazing times.
And Roman Krutovoy, you were the coolest owner. I think you should come back and fix many things… it would help the community feel safe again.
